Percy Jackson and The Olympians Season Two has released the official teaser trailer. An adapation of the novel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, the second season is promising to be bigger, bolder, and better than ever. All in all, though only a 90-second teaser, it provides insight into the scale and a bit of the mystery surrounding the anticipated second season, of a series based on an extremely popular book series.

Revealed at the 2025 San Diego Comic-Con, Percy Jackson and The Olympians Season Two will release December 10 exclusively on Disney Plus. The release date announcement is paired with the release of the teaser poster, as well as the teaser trailer.
In terms of the teaser trailer itself, it contains various shots that appear to be from action sequences, and cruical character moments. The teaser reveals the second season takes place at least one year after the first season. It also reveals the first look at a fan-favorite character from the books making his debut in the series.
Tyson Is In The Spotlight

Tyson is a cyclops, that like the title character Percy Jackson also has Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, as his father. In Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season Two, Tyson’s played by Daniel Diemer. Rick Riordan, the author of the original Percy Jackson novels, says that Tyson will be a large part of Season Two’s story. He adds to this by saying:
Daniel Diemer, who plays Tyson, the Cyclops half-brother of Percy, he’s just so, so perfect. I don’t know that I had a visual image for what Tyson would look like in the season, but now, it’s definitely Daniel Diemer because he embodies the character.
In short, Tyson is a welcomed addition to the cast. Daniel Diemer will bring a lot of life and personality to the character. This is something that will make fans of the books very happy.

As a matter of fact, aside from Tyson’s reveal and the time skip confirmation, there is nothing in particular that stands out. However, with the specific mention in the teaser of the Sea of Monsters, and knowing the scale of the second novel in the Percy Jackson series. All in all, fans will tune in December 10 for a story that appears to be bigger in scale and scope than Season One. It will be interesting to see where everything goes from this point forward.
