The Beatles Anthology is returning, and in many unique and exciting ways. With a book, music collection, and a remastered documentary series premiering on Disney Plus, the celebration is going to be kicking itself into high gear very soon.
The Beatles Anthology Returns
Apple Corps has released a pretty major Beatles line. Anthology will be reissued. The rissuing includes “the band’s multimedia retrospective project of the late ’90s, with additional material added to both the music boxed set and the TV series, with the documentary now seen as a streaming series on Disney Plus.” The new release will include additional content, such as “13 previously unreleased demos and session recordings” for the music collection boxset, and a “newly assembled ninth episode” that will add on to the documentary series. The reissue of the book will be first to release, on October 14. Then, the music collections will release November 21. Finally, the first three episodes of the documentary series will release on Disney Plus November 26.
In short, this is excellent news for fans of The Beatles. All of this content offers an insight into the fan-favorite band like never before. In particular, the documentary series being released onto Disney Plus, especially fully restored and remastered, will be fascinating to see.
