With that, they have chosen world class talent to be behind the wheel. As announced by the team, Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will return to F1 to drive for the newest team on the grid. All in all, this is great news for the drivers. This is also great news for Cadillac. Most importantly, this is great news for the fans. 22 cars on the grid will bring new levels of competition, which will make the racing product as a whole that much better.
Perez and Bottas Return To Formula One For Cadillac

Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will both return to Formula One driving for the brand new Cadillac team. A statement from Marussia Sporting Director Graeme Lowdon, who is leading the team, reads:
Signing two very experienced racers like Bottas and Checo is a bold signal of intent. They’ve seen it all and they know what it takes to succeed in Formula 1. But more importantly, they understand what it means to help build a team.
Between the two drivers, there is a combined 527 Grand Prix starts, 16 Grand Prix wins, and seven constructor’s championships. However, with these stats in mind, it is a surprise to some that both were removed from their rides after the 2024 F1 season. Now, after a year’s absence, they return in a quest for newfound glory, with one of the most respected luxury car brands in the world at their backing.
Striving For Greatness

To conclude, Cadillac is the newest team on the Formula One grid. With that, they are bringing the best free agent talent available to their cars. With parent company General Motors fully backing the effort, the races across the board are about to get a whole lot more exciting.
