In an exciting turn of events, Spider-Man Brand New Day just got a whole lot bigger. One of the most legendary action actors, Jackie Chan, has revealed his stunt team is working on the Tom Holland-led film. Director Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed the first Shang-Chi film for Marvel Studios, getting to work with the great Jackie Chan’s stunt team, indicates that fans are in for some of the best action sequences the MCU has ever seen.
Jackie Chan Enters The Neighborhood

Jackie Chan is a legend in the action film realm. He and his stunt team are among the most-respected in the industry. With that, the next adventure for them is joining the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. They will advise and have involvment with the action sequences in Spider-Man Brand New Day. After visting the set in London, Chan said:
My Jackie Chan Stunt Team was busy filming Spider-Man, and I was the action director for the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. I went to watch their rehearsals, and the director was so excited when he saw me.
As fans will know, Jackie Chan is no stranger to the action genre. He has starred in films such as Rumble in the Bronx, Police Story, and perhaps most famously, the 2010 Karate Kid reboot. Chan is a legend in this genre, and the industry as a whole. In addition, for the longest time, he has done most of his own stunts. With that, knowing that his legendary stunt team is working on the Tom Holland-led fourth MCU Spider-Man film is excellent news. It means that Director Destin Daniel Cretton is truly bringing in the best talent possible, so that he can make the best movie he possibly can.

In short, Jackie Chan’s stunt team is joining the crew of Spider-Man Brand New Day. With a legendary stunt team working on a Spider-Man film, fans can expect the very best in terms of action sequences. All in all, with the film debuting July 31, 2026, fans are in for something truly special.
