Though traditionally Netflix has not given its films theatrical runs, that will not be the case for the next Knives Out film. The streamer will release the film for a limited time before the worldwide debut on the platform. All in all, this is excellent news for fans, who are excited to see the next whodunnit in the world of director Rian Johnson’s design.
Knives Out Will Head To Theaters

According to Variety:
“Wake Up Dead Man” will release in select theaters on Nov. 26 for a two-week run until it comes to Netflix on Dec. 12.
The third film in the Knives Out series will have Daniel Craig as the lead. Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, and Kerry Washington are among the members of the all-star cast. Rian Johnson directed, wrote, and co-produced the film. The film itself is described as the “third and darkest chapter of Rian Johnson’s murder mystery opus.”
In short, fans will come for the theatrical and Netflix releases. The franchise is one of the more successful ones that have been created in the last few years.
The Mystery Is Reborn

The third film in the Knives Out series is promising twists and turns the franchise is not yet seen. With the star power in front and behind of the camera, the film is heading for new heights that the franchise has not yet seen up until this point. With new heights on the horizon, Netflix will look to take advantage of a limited theatrical run, to get as many eyeballs on the film as possible. It is a fascinating experiment, with the results to be published following the theatrical run, and beyond.
