The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards are now in the books. As a matter of fact, it was filled with red carpet fashion, and a bunch of big and surprising winners. All in all, some of the biggest names in the music industry converged for a major night in the world of music.
2025 MTV VMAs Red Carpet Fashion
In short, no awards show is complete without red carpet fashion. That said, there was some interesting outfit choices for this year’s VMAs. For example, Sabrina Carpenter wore a red floor length see through dress. In addition, Ariana Grande wore a Fendi polka dot dress, with a scarf around her ponytail. Meanwhile, Ice Spice wore a Victorian-inspired corset and a patchwork maxi skirt.
In conclusion, with the awards shows, there will always be certain artists that will bring out their best dress to impress. Sometimes, it works out. Other times, however, it doesn’t. It just depends on the artist and the pieces meshing together. That said, the glam is on full display for everyone to see, as it always is during awards season.
2025 MTV VMAs Performances Recap
Of course, no music awards show is complete without star-studded live performances. For example, Sabrina Carpenter performed her song “Tears,” from her recently-released album Man’s Best Friend. She went on to win Best Album for Short ‘n Sweet. In addition, Alex Warren performed a mashup of “Eternity” and “Ordinary,” the latter of which he was nominated for in the Song of the Year category (Rosé & Bruno Mars went on to win that one for “APT.”). Meanwhile, something a bit unique was the fact MTV streamed a pre-recorded performance of Lady Gaga doing a mashup of “Abracadabra” and “The Dead Dance.”
In conclusion, each and every performance of the 2025 MTV VMAs was passion-filled. As a matter of fact, these singers give everything they haver to perform for the fans and fellow singers at the awards. All in all, it was a fantastic night for performances, leaving fans across the board extremely satasified.
2025 MTV VMAs Awards Recap
In short, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga were the big winners of the 2025 MTV VMAs. For example, Lady Gaga won four awards, including Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, and Best Art Direction. Meanwhile, Grande won three awards, including Video of the Year, Best Pop Song, and Best Longform Video. In addition, Sabrina Carpenter also won three awards, including Best Pop Artist, Best Album, and Best Visual Effects.
As a matter of fact, there were many winners, and many special moments throughout the 2025 MTV VMAs that made the night truly special for everyone. For the award show’s first night ever on CBS, it appears to have been a resounding success.
