This VOILÀ Manchester Academy 3 live review captures the highlights, the atmosphere, and the moments that made August 27, 2025 unforgettable. Manchester’s Academy 3 became the backdrop for a night of energy, connection, and unfiltered emotion as VOILÀ took the stage.

Dutch Melrose opened the evening with a set that immediately caught the crowd’s attention. His polished blend of pop-infused beats and smooth delivery made an impact, but it was Pretty Please that truly stuck. By the second chorus, the room was singing along, pulled in by his effortless charm and charisma. Dutch left the stage not as an opener but as an artist who had made his mark on the night.
Chri$tian Gate$ followed with a performance that shifted the room into a higher gear. His mix of alt-pop attitude and raw emotion carried every track, with FREAK sparking the loudest reactions from fans pressed at the front. BLEED pushed things further, strobes and heavy beats turning the venue into a storm of light and sound. Gate$ fed off the crowd’s energy, crouching to meet fans eye to eye and pacing the stage with a restless fire that made it impossible to look away.
By the time VOILÀ stepped out, anticipation had reached its peak. Opening with Level 1, 2, 3, they launched into a set that felt equal parts polished and unpredictable. Gus delivered each lyric with urgency, Luke commanded the stage with guitar in hand, and the crowd responded with raised arms, lifted voices, and a level of devotion that blurred the line between performer and audience.

The second half of the set balanced softer moments, lit by swaying phone lights, with bursts of chaos that shook the floor. Fans shouted jokes back to the stage, and the band answered with playful banter that made the night feel uniquely personal to Manchester. When Chri$tian Gate$ returned for after(h)ours, the room turned into a full celebration, performers and fans sharing the same electric charge.
As the final notes echoed through the venue, Academy 3 was left buzzing with the kind of exhilaration only a great live show delivers. VOILÀ gave their all, and Manchester gave it back in equal measure. It was a night that felt less like watching a concert and more like being part of a memory that everyone inside the room will carry forward.
