The anticipated Big Little Lies Season Three is geting more talent behind the scenes. Francesca Sloane will write the first episode of the third season for HBO. In addition, she will also join the series as an will executive producer. She will share those duties with series creator David. E. Kelley, as well as with series stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman. Sloane’s involvement is a part of her larger two-year exclusive deal with HBO as a whole.
As Deadline notes, the series “was a critical and ratings hit when it launched in 2017 as a limited series.” After that, it took off in terms of its popularity.
