Fifty years after Pink Floyd released Wish You Were Here, a deluxe edition will release. Officially known as Wish You Were Here 50, the deluxe release will “include a greater wealth of unreleased material.” This will excite fans all over the world, as they celebrate fifty years of what many consider to be one of the best albums that the band has ever made.
Wish You Were Here 50 Is On The Way

Fifty years have passed since Pink Floyd released his album Wish You Were Here. With that, to mark the 50th anniversary, Sony Music Entertainment has revealed Wish You Were Here 50, the deluxe edition of the hit album. It will release December 12. It will “include a greater wealth of unreleased material.” The unreleased material “will include six previously unreleased alternate versions or demos.” Among these unreleased alternative songs and demos will be “The Machine Song (Demo #2, Revisited),” which is now out on streaming, as can be seen below:
In short, this is excellent news for fans all over the world. They will look forward to picking up Wish You Were Here 50 on December 12, which is just in time for the holiday season.
