Denis Villeneuve is hard at work on Dune Part Three. However, once his work is complete, he will get to work on his next adventure. That next adventure will involve directing the next James Bond film. Beginning next year, Villeneuve will begin the hunter for the British male actor who will play the iconic character. Fans will love there’s finally a timeline in place for the next Bond film. In short, the newest Agent 007 will make their film debut soon, which will excite fans all over the world.
Bond 26 First Details Revealed

Denis Villeneuve will begin the process of choosing the next James Bond next year. This will follow the conclusion of production for Dune Part Three. The new Bond film, titled Bond 26, will begin shooting in 2027, for what is expected to be a 2028 release date. Regarding the James Bond character himself, the legacy of the character will cary itself on through a new British male actor. On top of this, Villeneuve is looking “to cast an unknown, possibly in his late 20s or early 30s.” In terms of a possible plot, sources tell Deadline that “Steven Knight’s going back to Bond’s beginnings as a Royal Navy Commander before being recruited by MI6, the UK’s foreign intelligence agency, to perhaps chart how Bond attained 007 status.”
In short, with the knowledge Villeneuve is a massive fan of the franchise, fans wil feel comfortable knowing that he is in charge. At the time of writing, nothing else is known about Bond 26. However, the stage is set for a new take on James Bond to take shape. This will ultimately be fascinating to see unfold.
