After a scary collapse onstage at the the All Things Go Festival in New York on September 27th, Lola Young has decided to cancel all of her shows indefinitely. During her performance of her song ‘Conceited’, the singer mouthed to someone that she was going to faint before stumbling and needing to be carried offstage. Just a little while before she passed out, Young expressed to the crowd that she was getting through some personal matters.
“Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here,” she said according to E News. “And I wanted to be cool…and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.”
Initially, Young cancelled her concert on September 28th at the same festival but in Washington D.C. However, after taking account of her physical and mental health, the singer decided that this was the best course of action.
She posted on Instagram Tuesday with the announcement stating: “I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say that I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.”
Young continued by thanking her fans for their support in this difficult time and noted that they’d receive refunds.
Lola Young recently released her third studio album ‘I’m Only F**cking Myself’ in September.
