Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season Two hasn’t come out yet, but they are making big splashes for Season Three. With the third season set to start filming soon, Kate McKinnon has been casted as the Greek goddess of love Aphrodite. All in all, the future of Olympus on Disney Plus is looking brighter than ever before.
Kate McKinnon Will Head To Olympus In Percy Jackson Season 3

Kate McKinnon is heading to the home of the Greek gods and goddesses. She will join the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season Three as a recurring guest star. She will play “Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.” The character description given for McKinnon’s Aphrodite reads: “Aphrodite “can alter her appearance depending on the beholder” and “must be sure that Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) respects the power and importance of love before she agrees to offer aid on his quest.”
McKinnon joins a cast that includes Walker Scobell in the title role, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, among others. Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz serve as showrunners. Rick Riordan, the creator of the Percy Jackson series, serves as one of 14 exceutive producers on the series. Season One premiered December 19, 2023. Season Two will premiere Decmber 10, 2025.
Love Finds A New Personification

Kate McKinnon has played a wide variety of roles over the course of her career. Now, she will add Greek goddess Aphrodite to her filmography. Fans will be excited, as the return to Olympus for Season Three of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is about to go bigger than it has up until this point.
