It looks like the Foo Fighters could be releasing new music very soon. On their Instagram page, this week the band posted a short clip of a colorful bird sitting in a stack of amp’s in front of the band’s logo. A caption underneath it says the band is “About to take flight…”
The Foo Fighter’s released “Today’s Song” back in July, their first single since their 2023 album ‘But Here We Are’. Earlier this month, they released a live EP ‘Are Playing Where ???? Vol 1.
There has been much speculation about what the post means. Some believe that the video could be announcing a South American tour- the bird was yellow, blue and green which are the colors of Brazil’s flag.
The Foo Fighters have been touring throughout the year with shows in Mexico next month. Their past couple of shows featured the debut of new drummer Rubin, formerly of Nine Inch Nails who joined the group this summer. Since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, Josh Freese has held the seat of percussionist for the Foo Fighters.
