Since the announcement of the fourth Spider Man film ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ theories about cameos and crossovers have of course commenced. On particular cameo that fans are hoping to see is Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. However, it looks like this is one superhero that they won’t get to see.
In a recent interview with Phase Hero podcast, Cox dispelled the rumors.
“Well, I don’t read anything, so I don’t know [what fans are saying online],” Cox said on the Phase Hero podcast. “I know that they all think I’m in Spider-Man because I’m filming something in London, which I’m not. I’m not in Spider-Man…I’m just concentrating on DD right now.”
It is expected that Mark Ruffalo and Jon Bernthal will reprise their roles as The Hulk and The Punisher respectively.
Filming for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ began in Scotland this August. Star Tom Holland expressed his excitement for his fourth film in an interview.
“I feel good, man. It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man. You know, it’s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It’s also the first time we’ve ever had fans on set for day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them. We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just gonna do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure.”
‘Spider Man: Brand New Day’ will join a slew of other franchise films in the box office next summer, July 31.
