Fantastic is the name of the game. With The Fantastic Four First Steps releasing on July 25, Marvel Studios is kicking the promotional push into high gear. In the last few days, new clips showcasing the power of the film that is to come have made their way online. All in all, the superhero blockbusters are back, and they appear to be better than ever, as Marvel Studios looks to bring Marvel’s First Family into the MCU for the first-time ever.
A Fantastic New Beginning
Two weeks remain before The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters, with two clips releasing to showcase a snippet of what is to me. In the first clip, it shows Marvel’s First Family at Sunday dinner. H.E.R.B.I.E. (Matthew Wood) & Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) are finishing up preparing dinner. Meanwhile, Johnny Storm (Jospeh Quinn) is eating from a cereal box. Then, Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) and Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) finally show up. Once everyone sits down, Ben notices the facial expressions on Reed’s face, and asks Sue if she’s pregnant. Sue says she is, and Johnny is extremely happy for her, saying she will be the best mom ever, while throwing shade at Reed, saying he’s out of his element. The first clip ends with him saying he and Ben will be the best uncles ever, and the family sitting down for dinner.
In the second clip, there is less going on. Shalla-Bal (Julia Garner) comes to this Earth to warn it has been “marked for death.” Shalla-Bal goes on to state that she hearlds Galactus (Ralph Ineson), and that this Earth will die soon enough. The clip ends shortly thereafter.
All in all, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is looking to be a fun family adventure, filled with wonder and pride. It will fly its way into theaters in just over two weeks. Fans all over the world have longed for Marvel Studios to take a crack at a film adapation of Marvel’s First Family. Now, they get their wish. That said, time will tell if it is ultimately any good, or if it will fall like the rest.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps Is Almost Here

In conclusion, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a film with a lot of family fun. In addition, it is looking to be a cosmic adventure, as Marvel’s First Family looks to defend their world from the likes of Galactus. How they will defeat him, if they do at all, remains to be seen. All in all, the first film of MCU Phase Six is looking like a hit. However, only time will tell for sure in terms of whether or not it’ll be a hit at the end of the day.
