Diehard Beliebers have received some sudden, yet exciting news Thursday. The pop star will be releasing his seventh studio album titled ‘Swag’ this Friday. This will be his first body of work since ‘Justice’ was released in 2021. On Bieber’s Instagram account, the singer shared pictures of billboards and mega-screens featuring his 20 song tracklist or ‘Swag’ with the Parental Advisory sticker in the bottom right corner.
The Canadian pop sensation’s musical return shakes the industry up in one of its busiest seasons. He’s transformed from teen heartthrob into a crooning lyric tenor, floating between genres to explore his evolution as an artist and a man. Bieber’s career has been a staple of 2010s pop culture. Hits like ‘Baby’, ‘Love Yourself’, and ‘Boyfriend’ sent him on the path to stardom. In 2020, he broke Elvis Presley’s record for being the youngest solo act to have eight US number one albums. Billboard ranks him as one of the greatest pop stars of this century.
Promotion for the album features pictures of Bieber and his family. The singer and his wife Hailey Bieber had their first child last year.
Bieber also launched his Skylrk clothing line, a venture that the singer has been teasing for a while. Skylrk’s lead designer is Finn Rush-Taylor who has been collaborating with Bieber frequently. Skylrk first collection features pieces worn by Bieber including beanies, hoodies, and sandles. The brand is a timely summer debut with bright, vibrant colors and lenses starting at $200.
