In addition, Noah Hawley has secured his place creating content for FX and Disney for a long time to come. With a fresh line of money going to his bank account, and with fans loving “Alien: Earth” and what it has done for the franchise, Season Two is becoming a highly-anticipated project, for all that are involved.
“Alien: Earth” Returning For Season Two, Noah Hawley Gets Overall Deal With Disney

The Xenomorphs will return to the small screen very soon. Disney and FX have renewed “Alien: Earth” for a Season Two. In addition, series creator Noah Hawley has scored a brand-new overall deal with the entertainment giant. As a matter of fact, “Hawley’s overall deal is valued in the nine figure range. Production on Season 2 of “Alien: Earth” will begin in London in 2026, whereas the first season was shot in Thailand.”
As mentioned, Noah Hawley is the creator of the series. He also serves as showrunner and the primary writer. The series stars Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El. The first season premiered August 12, 2025, with a second season set to begin filming sometime in 2026.
