In a surprise for fans all over the world, Bad Bunny has shadowdropped a new single. Titled “Alambre Púa,” it is the opening track for each of his shows for a 30-day Puerto Rico residency. It is a love based track, honoring Bad Bunny’s heritage, that fans will enjoy, as Bad Bunny looks to complete a residency, and then begin a sequel international tour this fall, with this new song at the center of it all.
Bad Bunny At Home With “Alambre Púa”
As his Puerto Rico residency gets underway, Bad Bunny has shadowdropped a brand-new single, “Alambre Púa.” As a matter of fact, it is the first time he’s published music since his January album release. In short, the new single and accompanying music video, filmed at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot (the venue his residency is taking place at), is a “homage to Bunny’s Puerto Rican roots, with lush mountainous landscapes and Taino-inspired dancer weaving through the scene, wearing beige colors with straw accents.”
The song itself is “percussive-heavy” in its nature, which helps it to stand out. At the end of the song, the lyrics go “No me quiero ir de aquí / I don’t want to leave here,” signifying the love that Bad Bunny has for Puerto Rico itself. All in all, while a shadow drop and a suprise to everyone, “Alambre Púa” is a song about love, and not just romantic love, but pride-based love for a country that Bad Bunny loves very dearly.
Bad Bunny Is Here To Stay

In conclusion, Bad Bunny is one of the most successful artists of all-time. As such, any new music from him will come with wide acclaim. All in all, “Alambre Púa” embraces Bunny’s Puerto Rican roots, and makes a very special song that fans all around the world will enjoy.
