All in all, this is excellent news for them, and for fans of the band and rock music as a whole. The more rock albums that succeed, the more people that will be willing to make music within the genre, for a long time to come.
Breach Is The Biggest Rock Album Debut In Six Years

Twenty One Pilots are in the headlines, and for good reason. Their newest album, Breach, has “earned 200,000 equivalent album units in the United States.” This has helped the album to not only reach the number one spot on the Billboard 200, but it is also the biggest debut for a rock album since 2019’s Fear Inoculum, by Tool. In addition, Breach marks the biggest debut that Twenty One Pilots themselves have ever had.
All in all, with “15 vinyl variants,” which allowed for there to be mass availability of the album, it helped to bring this historic mark for Twenty One Pilots, and also the biggest rock album debut since before the COVID-19 pandemic. This is excellent news for Twenty One Pilots, and especially fans of the band and rock music as a whole. The more it succeeds, the more rock will continue to thrive and find new audiences, for a long time to come.
