Bruno Mars releases mariachi themed music video “Risk It All” along with new album “The Romantic” on February 27, 2026 to wrap up the month of love. “The Romantic” is Mars’s fourth solo studio album released by Atlantic Records. Last year, Bruno Mars announced that his newest solo album to be released eventually leaving fans anticipating for its arrival. He hasn’t released a solo album in a decade ever since he released “24K Magic” in 2016, marking his solo album comeback. Over the years, he has remained an active artist when he collaborated with Lady Gaga which together released “Die With a Smile” which reached No. 1 earning a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammys. He also collaborated with Rosé in 2024 in releasing “APT” which also became a hit.

Mars has a history of creating music with pop, funk and reggae sounding influences along with retro music inspirations from the 70’s to the 90’s. His music lyricism centered mostly on love and relationship ballads but also focused on high-energy pop hits. For example, the early 2010 hit “Just the Way You Are” a love ballad become very well known that it topped charts around the world. Another example is “Uptown Funk” an upbeat funk classic of Mars which has over 5 billion views on Youtube. Bruno Mars releases mariachi themed music video “Risk It All”
His newest single “Risk It All” blends mariachi characteristics while also utilizing his signature soul pop styles. The music video gained traction because of its strong Mexican cultural imagery. Bruno is seen performing alongside a mariachi band. Additionally, Mars is seen being married in a traditional Catholic wedding sense. “The Romantic” studio album centers around many styles and themes such as romantic, nostalgic pop with soul influences, retro disco, funk, Latin rhythms and love-centered songwriting. The album also includes “I Just Might” a single that once debuted at No. 1 on the U.S Billboard Hot 100.
