After an extremely quiet year after the announcement of their comeback album and tour launching in 2026, the ARMY has finally received an update. BTS member RM posted on X saying “Above all, the music is really coming out great,” he shared. “Everyone is working hard. Look forward to it. 2026 Bulletproof Army Fighting.”
RM’s post featured four behind the scenes photos. This comes after an update in August by RM where he expressed joy in making music again with his bandmates. “Making something ‘together’ with these friends, I’m going to commit myself to this moment. I’m going to thank you,” he said “It’s our next album. I’m looking for what I’ll become. Something I’ve forgotten for too long, the moments that are far away together. I hope that it will be a kind of beauty.”
This project will be their first in six years since they released ‘Be’. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started,” BTS shared earlier this year. “We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”
BTS announced their hiatus in 2022 to complete their mandatory military service in South Korea.
