Colin Farrell and Russo Brothers imprint AGBO are teaming up for ‘Ordained’. ‘Ordained’ is a soon to be released comic written by Robert Venditti about Father Royston Craig, a priest who performs the prayers of last rites to their patients on their deathbeds. One of these patients Cormac Byrne, is expected to die quickly, but before he does he reveals to Father Roy his extensive history of gang related violence and murders as the head of the Irish mafia. Father Roy absolves Byrne of his sins and he miraculously recovers by the next morning and returns to his life of calamity.
Farrell will star as Father Roy Craig in ‘Ordained’. He recently earned an Emmy nomination for HBO’s ‘The Penguin’ and is expected to reprise the role in the upcoming ‘The Batman’ sequel.
AGBO and the Russo Bros. are in post-production on ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and will begin filming for ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ next summer. AGBO recently joined the ‘John Rambo’ film.
