Demi Lovato is back on the pop music scene.
She took to Instagram to announce her long-teased track, “Fast,” will release on August 1. Her first release in the pop genre in several years, she is looking to “return to form.” All in all, fans will tune in August 1 to hear Lovato return to her roots, and going back to a genre that she once tried to distance herself from, as much as possible.

Releasing August 1, it is the first single off a planned full-length pop album. The producer for the album, Zhone, said the upcoming album “is about letting inhibitions go, and we had so much fun making this music!”
In short, this is excellent and exciting news for fans. Though many enjoy the rock Levato era, seen in 2022’s HOLY FVCK and 2023’s REVAMPED, a return to her pop roots is an exciting time. Levato has teased “Fast” for a long time, and now she will show it to the world in full, which will truly be exciting for fans all around.
