“Dune Prophecy” Season One set up a world thousands of years before the events of the “Dune” films, where the Bene Gesserit is just getting its footing. Now, Season Two will seek to expand the world, as three names have been added to the cast lineup. With that, the world is getting bigger, and HBO is looking to take full advantage of it.

The world in which the Bene Gesserit is just earning its place within it is about to get a whole lot bigger. Three new cast members will join the second season of “Dune Prophecy.” Indira Varma, Ashley Walters, and Tom Hollander will all join the cast. Varma most recently was in the British TV series “Coldwater” and the DC Studios animated series “Creature Commandos.” Walters was most recently in the Netflix series “Missing You” and the British crime series “Top Boy.” Meanwhile, Hollander was most recently in the DC animated series “Harley Quinn” and the British thriller series “The Iris Affair.”
Varma, Walters, and Hollander join a large all-star cast, that includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, Yerin Ha, Barbara Marten, and Tessa Bonham Jones. The series hails from a story written by Alison Schapker, who also serves as the series’ showrunner. The first season aired from November-December 2024. The second season has just started filming, so there is no planned release date at the time of writing.
“Dune Prophecy” Is Getting Bigger

The world in which “Dune Prophecy” is building before the time of Paul Atreides is getting bigger. With Indira Varma, Ashley Walters, and Tom Hollander joining the lineup, the HBO Max Original Series is looking to build something grander than what the first season provided.
