The Cat in the Hat is reborn. Bill Hader, who will play the title character, shares via Warner Brothers’ social media, that the new animated film will debut its first trailer on July 1. However, the first images from the film are out today. All in all, this is great news for fans. With the talent working on this film, this is the start of something truly special.
The First Look Is Out
On June 30, Warner Brothers uploaded a new video to their social media, showing The Cat in the Hat himself, Bill Hader, revealing the first look at the new animated film. The first look includes three separate images, showcasing how the vast new world will look in the film. The images show that the new world is expansive and imaginative as ever. In addition, the video reaffirms some of the voice talent that will feature in the film. In short, that talent includes Hader (Inside Out franchise) himself, Matt Berry (The Wild Robot), Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live), America Ferrera (Barbie), Xochitl Gomez (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), Tiago Martinez (Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado), Paula Pell (Inside Out franchise), Tituss Burgess (Snow White [2025]), and Giancarlo Esposito (Captain America Brave New World).
In addition to the casting updates, Hader revealed that the first trailer for the film will debut online on July 1. By all means, this is great news for animation. The cast and crew assembled will make a wonderful film. It will make fans of the original story happy, to see so much care being taken to make this new version as thoughtful and creative as possible.
