For their twentieth anniversary tour, the Jonas Brothers chose to start things off with a bang. To everyone else it is currently 2025, but for concertgoers at MetLife stadium this past Sunday it was 2008 again. Joe Jonas brought Demi Lovato on stage to sing songs from Disney Chanel movie ‘Camp Rock’ that the two starred in. They performed ‘This is Me’ and ‘Wouldn’t Change A Thing’.
Nick Jonas gave a brief interlude, explaining the background story of how the JoBros became involved with the movie. “Joe got the job, and then somehow our dad figured it out to get me and Kevin to be involved in the movie too,” Nick said. “I think it’s time that we all walk down this memory lane to celebrate a little movie called Camp Rock.”
The ‘JONAS20’ tour kickstarted on Sunday in the JoBros homestate of New Jersey. As the trio took a trip down memory lane, they arrived at one of the most pivotal moments of their career, the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Camp Rock’. The trio starred in the film as Connect Three, Joe portraying their lead singer Shane Gray. Joe broke out into ‘Gotta Find You’ before introducing his former costar to segue into ‘This Is Me’.
‘JONAS20′ accomapbies the release of the Jonas Brothers’ latest album ‘Greetings From Your Hometown’.
