Karol G is looking to make a big splash this summer. She has taken to Instagram to announce her 5th studio album, Tropicoqueta. The first woman to ever have a Spanish-language album at the top of the Billboard 200, she is looking to capitalize on that success by going straight into a new adventure with Tropicoqueta.
Tropicoqueta Details
A June 9, 2025 Instragram post by Karol G announced Tropicoqueta. As a matter of fact, an interesting detail pulled from the announcement video is that she seemingly is channeling her inner Charo and Carmen Miranda, while also giving things her own unique flair and twist. It certainly appears as if that a new vibrant album is coming, which fans will be incredibly excited for.
Aside from the vibrant video, no other details regarding the album are available at this time.
The announcement of Karol G’s new album comess off the heels of the release of her single “Latina Foreva,” which she described as “a song that captures everything we Latinas are, because I feel like Latinas are in style.” Karol G seems to be very excited about Tropicoqueta, so that means fans will be excited to see what this popular Latin artists has in store for her 5th studio album.
