Though the box office numbers for Thunderbolts* don’t show it, the reviews show that many believe this is the best MCU film since Avengers Endgame. With that, many as a result were eager to learn when the film would hit streaming. Now, the answer has been revealed. The ensemble superhero flick has its Disney Plus premiere date, with the film now accessible to more people than ever before.
Thunderbolts* Is Heading To Disney Plus
While still being the highest-rated MCU film of the year, Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* now has its streaming debut film. The superhero flick will debut on Disney Plus on August 27.
Though the film did not perform as well at the box office, it was enjoyed by fans and critics alike. One of the reviews reads: “Thunderbolts is a film of undeniable merit that stands out among the abundance of similar offerings released in recent years.” This shows that money is not a primary factor in determining its true overall quality. All in all, Thunderbolts* now finding its home on digital and streaming platforms is excellent news for fans. For those who had an exciting time with it in theaters, it will be awesome to experience the film once again at home.
The New Avengers* Come Home
While the heavy themes discussed in Thunderbolts* were not for all, many appreciated how it tackled those issues head-on. In addition, the film was able to bring together a rag-tag group of people, to create The New Avengers*. The film, starring Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, among other stars, is loved by critics and fans alike. All in all, a film that’s considered by many to be the best of the year from Marvel Studios will now be on streaming, for all to enjoy for a long time to come.
