He will join the cast of Star Wars Starfighter, premiering in theaters May 28, 2027. Shawn Levy will direct the film. Ryan Gosling will play the main character. Though sources were confident on Smith playing a villain role, they were unable to pinpoint specifics. In terms of Star Wars Starfighter itself, there aren’t details on the plot or anything along that line. The one detail in the public eye is that the film will take place five years after The Rise of Skywalker.
