Olivia Rodrigo teases her new album during the “GUTS World Tour.” Rodrigo has also updated her website ahead of her new era. Rodrigo officially wrapped the Guts era on Aug. 3, 2025, at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Canada.
Across the Guts tour, Rodrigo has been wearing “encore shirts” that present humor and cryptic phrases during the final part of her concerts. During her last concert, Rodrigo wore a red shirt with the number “3” with purple rhinestones, hinting at her third album. Some of the encore shirts Rodrigo has worn had encrypted messages such as “New York City Never Looked So Blue” and “Melt with you,” which fans believe are the start of a new era and lyrics to her third album.

Olivia Rodrigo teases her new album as she updates her website and through a newsletter. Her website shifted to red ahead of her new album, replacing the previous purple theme for her debut and sophomore albums. Rodrigo also uploaded a newsletter shared with fans on Aug. 11 officially announcing the end of the GUTS world tour to be over, while also teasing her third album. “The end of the GUTS era feels bittersweet, but I’m sooooo excited for all that’s y3t to come!!!!,” Rodrio wrote in her newsletter.
In July 2023, Rodrigo revealed she was already conceptualizing her third album during an interview. “I’ve actually been thinking about it a lot,” she said at the time. “I just barely finished GUTS, so I can’t get too ahead of myself, but, yeah, I definitely am ideating. The wheels are spinning.”
