Production for Season 3 of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ has officially begun this month. Although the second season based off of Rick Riordan’s ‘Sea of Monsters’ hasn’t come out yet, the team there seems to keep the ball rolling. ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ was renewed back in March and is adapted from Riordan’s ‘The Titan’s Curse’.
In Season 3, several new faces will appear on the Disney+ original series. It was announced at Comic Con this year, that children of Hades, Bianca and Nico di Angelo would join the character list. Olive Abercrombie will portray Bianca, and Levi Chrisopulos will play Nico. The Hollywood Reporter exclusively revealed that Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry were joining as well. Keen who has starred in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and ‘His Dark Materials’ is portraying Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt. Saara Chaudry is portraying Zoe Nightshade, Artemis immortal lieutenant.
‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, and Dior Goodjohn. In season 2, Daniel Diemer as Percy’s half brother Tyson and Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. Other guests in its ensemble cast include Jason Mantzoukas, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Courtney B. Vance. The Gray Sisters will be portrayed by Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal, and Margeret Cho
Rick Riordan is hands on behind the scenes of the show, working as executive producer and co-creator. Showrunners and executive producers are Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz.
The second season of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ will premiere on December 10,2025.
