The Rolling Stone ‘Musicians on Musicians’ event is returning to New York this Fall. The annual franchise brings together pairs of musicians who interview each other about their music and lives.
This year’s event takes place on Oct. 23 at the Beacon Theatre in New York, featuring conversations and performances by Jack Antonoff, Hayley Williams, Role Model, and María Zardoya of The Marías. Saturday Night Live’s James Austin Johnson will host and moderate the ‘Musicians on Musicians’ event. Antonoff’s band, “Bleachers,” will also perform at the event.

The franchise launched in 2019 with a print issue featuring pairs like Billie Eilish and Billie Joe Armstrong, H.E.R. and Lenny Kravitz, and St. Vincent and Kirk Hammett. Rolling Stone launched a live ‘Musicians on Musicians’ event series starting in 2023. The event featured Lil Yachty with Tierra Whack, and Jon Batiste with Gucci Mane.
This year, Rolling Stone and Sonesta International Hotels took the ‘Musicians on Musicians’ event series on the road with a five-city tour, delivering performances and conversations in some of America’s most musically vibrant cities. The tour kicked off in Austin (Charley Crockett and Noeline Hoffman), New Orleans (Tank and The Bangas and David Shaw of The Revivalists), and Washington, D.C. (Big Freedia and Jake Wesley Rogers).
