The album will arrive on November 7th featuring guest appearances from Bjork, Yves Tumor, Carminho, Estrella Morente, and Silvia Perez Cruz. ‘Lux’ is the followup to her critically acclaimed 2022 album ‘Motomami’ which won her Album of the Year at the 23rd Latin Grammy Awards. With this win she became the first woman to win that award twice. ‘Motomami’ was an album that many believed to be snubbed at the 65th Grammy Awards, although she did win Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album.
The singer has been quite busy over the past three years. After embarking on the Motomami World Tour, she continued to collaborate with other artists like Bjork and Ralphie Choo.Rosalia was recently announced to be a cast member for season three of HBO series ‘Euphoria’.
In a recent interview with Highsnobiety, Rosalis had this to say about the album’s development and her own.
“I’ve changed a lot, but at the same time, I’m still wrapping my head around the same things,” she said. “It’s like I still have the same questions and the same desire to answer them. I still have the same love for the past and the same curiosity for the future.”
