Set for release August 29, this 12-track album, if “Manchild” is any indication, will be another spectactular display of the range and talent that is within Carpenter’s corner. Fans are in for a wild ride with this one, that much is for sure.

A year following Short ‘n Sweet, Sabrina Carpenter is going full speed ahead. On June 11, she revealed on social media her 7th studio album. Man’s Best Friend will be a 12-track album, releasing August 29. “Manchild” will kick off the album as its opening track. An Instagram post from Carpenter tells fans that she “can’t wait for it to be yours x.”
At this time, there are no further details that Carpenter herself has made available. That hasn’t stopped fans from uncovering details, however. The Spotify pre-save page shows nine of the 12 tracks as explicit, implying 18+ language and themes.
Aside from that, there are no details available regarding the other 11 tracks. Even so, fans have been speculating about the potiential meaning of the cover art and accompanying image on social media with the collar that says “Man’s Best Friend.” However, there is nothing for sure in the public eye, at the time of writing. With that, fans will simply have to wait for more information in the weeks and months ahead.
