Sinners is the highest-grossing original film in the last 15 years. However, it has been out of theaters for sometime. Now, it will make its return on Halloween, the spookiest night of the year. All in all, the film is looking to make a small splash in its limited return to theaters.
Sinners Returning To IMAX Theaters To Halloween

Sinners “will be back in select locations for one week starting on Oct. 30.” This is the second time the film has been re-released in theaters, having done so in May due to the film’s “initial run was cut short to make room for Marvel’s “Thunderbolts.”” A press release from Warner Brothers Discovery reads:
The re-release reunites audiences with a story that spoke volumes when it first premiered — both for its ambitious visual storytelling and for the passion and artistry of its stellar cast and crew.
With that, the film is heading back to IMAX theaters for a re-release for the second time this year. With some calling the film “the rare mainstream horror film that’s about something weighty and soulful: the wages of sin in Black America,” fans will be excited to see its return to theaters, especially at the spookiest time of the year.
Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, and Delroy Lindo. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the film. The film released worldwide in theaters April 18, 2025.
An Original Horror Film Returns To IMAX Theaters

Sinners is an original horror film that has done very well for Warner Brothers Discovery. With that, it will return to IMAX theaters, and see just how much more profit that the second re-release can ultimately make.
