We are set to return to Hawkins, Indiana thanks to a new Stranger Things trailer that has been released. The trailer raises hope and anticipation for the fifth and final season of the adored sci-fi series. ‘Stranger Things’ last season was released in two parts in May and June of 2022. Like many other shows on the streaming platform, the series has been plagued by long production times. With actors pursuing outside projects and the expansion of Netflix being expensive , a lot of shows become lost in the midst of time.
Fortunately, for ‘Stranger Things’ the hit show has managed to keep viewers in the palm of their hands and also in the Upside Down. Sadie Sink who played Max Mayfield just finished her run as Shelby in the Broadway play ‘John Proctor is a Villain’.Millie Bobby Brown has starred and produced both of the ‘Enola Holmes’ films, while Caleb McLaughlin has been in ‘The Book of Clarence’ and ‘The Deliverance’. Creators of ‘Stranger Things’ The Duffer Brothers have also had their hands full. They have created an animated spin-off show ‘Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 ‘, and a new show coming out next year ‘The Boroughs.’
In an Instagram post, the Brothers had this to say about the teaser which heightens expectations for the finale. “Don’t worry about spoilers—this teaser pulls from every episode except 7, but it’s mostly Volume One and just barely scratches the surface.”
‘Stranger Things 5’ Continues to Stay Alive
‘Stranger Things 5’ will be released in three parts around the holiday season, a perfect time for viewers to enjoy the last installment in a tender setting.
Volume 1 will be released on the day before Thanksgiving, November 26. Volume 2 will contain three episodes and come out on Christmas Day; the finale will air on New Year’s Eve. Series regulars such as Winona Ryder and David Harbour will return with an appearance by Linda Hamilton.
New images and stills have also been released for impending season. The music in the show is set to be fantastic per usual. After featuring ‘Running Up That Hill’ by Kate Bush and heavy metal induced scenes in season 4, the trailer features a song by Deep Purple titled ‘Child in Time’.
