Megan Stalter is attempting to reinvent the romantic comedy genre.
Too Much is now out on Netflix. Starring Stalter and Will Sharpe, the British romantic comedy series can now be streamed on the streaming service giant. All in all, rom-com fans should have a great time, especially considering Stalter, one of the best and over-the-top actresses of the genre, is right in the spotlight, for all to see.
Megan Stalter In The Spotlight

Too Much is looking to set itself apart from the crowd. With Megan Stalter at the forefront, this is possible.
Stalter has an over-the-top persona. However, she didn’t start that way. She once kept her more comedic persona hidden away, in favor of one that was more “earnest and vulnerable, frequently invoking the importance of her faith.” Once she started letting out her comedic side, she felt a calling. It was like she was “enacting God’s purpose for her” everytime she’s gone on the comedy stage.
As Rolling Stone mentions, “Stalter’s Jessica is a celebration” of the title of the series Too Much. Jessica, like many characters she plays, has a “subpar grasp on social cues, an inability to decipher nuance, and difficulty finishing full thoughts and sentences.” However, that is where Stalter thrives. She mentions her life being chaotic and that helping fuel her peformance, and it shows. All in all, if fans out there love Stalter and the over-the-top-persona she exhibits, they will love to watch Too Much, now streaming on Netflix.
Too Much Streaming Now

Too Much, an original British-based romantic comedy series, is now streaming on Netflix. The synopsis (found on Netflix’s official Tudum site) for the series reads:
Too Much follows Jessica (Hack’s Megan Stalter), a workaholic New Yorker who, in the wake of a devastating breakup, leaves the country and heads across the pond only to meet her unexpected match in sleep-until-noon musician Felix (The White Lotus’ Will Sharpe). Over 10 episodes, Jess learns that London — and love — are less like Notting Hill than she thought.
As stated, the series stars Stalter and Sharpe in the lead roles. Recurring and guest stars include Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl), Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four), Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Richard E. Grant (Saltburn), and Rita Wilson (Sleepless in Seattle), among others.
Created by Lena Dunham and Luis Felber, who also serves as the series’ musical composer, the series is looking to impress. All in all, the 10-episode series is looking to prove its worth. With the over-the-top Stalter at the helm, anything is possible.
