Daniel Craig returns as detective Benoit Blanc in the third film of the Knives Out franchise ‘Wake Up Dead Man’. An official trailer came out this week ahead of the release on November 26 and on Netflix December 12.
‘Wake Up Dead Man’ is written and directed by Rian Johnson who has worked on the Knives Out series since its inception.
The sequel to ‘Glass Onion’ features an ensemble cast of Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and Kerry Washington. In the film, Catholic priest Monsignor Jefferson Wicks played by Josh Brolin dies as he’s in the midst of leading a decaying parish.
The trailer for ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ has a gothic aesthetic that is somewhat reminiscent of the first movie but a complete turn from the sunny, island mystery of ‘Glass Onion’. These darker undertones create even more excitement for fan favorite Blanc and the crime that only a sleuth like him could solve.
