The Wednesday Season Two premiere is proving to Netflix once more the pull the series has. With the series being number one English-language series on the all-time charts from the streamer, the second season pulling in comparable numbers to season one is excellent news. In short, Wednesday is an all-time smash hit for Netflix, and it’s showing more than ever, with Season Two debuting to excellent numbers.
Wednesday Season Two Premiere Numbers Are In

The numbers are in, and they are excellent.
Wednesday Season Two premiered with its first four episodes. According to Variety, the hit series’ second season’s premiere got a total of “50 million views in its first five days of streaming.” This puts it on par with the series premiere. However, it is important to state that Wednesday’s first season premiered with all eight episodes at once. Meanwhile, the second season is split into two parts. The second part, containing the final four episodes, premieres next month.
Despite only premiering with four episodes, Wednesday Season Two is on track to, at the very least, match the current viewership totals of the first season. Those totals put it number one among English-language shows, and number two all-time, with 1.71 billion hours viewed. The only series it is behind on the all-time list is Squid Game Season One, with 2.20 billion hours viewed. That said, Wednesday Season Two being on track to at least match Season One’s current numbers, if not surpass them. All in all, the numbers are promising, and they can only go up from here.
Wednesday Is At Home At Netflix

The Wednesday Season Two premiere pulling in relatively equal numbers to Season One is excellent news. It shows Netflix that fans are engaged with the Jenna Ortega-led series, and the mysteries within it. All in all, the return to Nevermore Academy is proving to be exciting for all, as Netflix pushes its way through the future, and beyond.
