“Wicked For Good” is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. With that, it is tracking to be the biggest box office opening of the year. With the film dubbed as the epic conclusion to the story of Elphaba and Glinda, the stage is set for a true emotional roller coaster.

“Wicked For Good” is tracking to be a major success at the box office, at least for opening weekend. The film is currently tracking to earn $150-180 million. If the film debuts on the higher end of this project, it will surpass “A Minecraft Movie” ($162 million opening weekend) for the highest-grossing opening weekend of the year. Regardless, it will surpass the opening weekend of the first “Wicked” film ($112.5 million), which will breka the record for the highest grossing opening weekend for a Broadway film adaptation of all-time.
With that, the stage is set for “Wicked For Good” to make its mark at the box office. With the film now out in theaters worldwide, fans will flock to the theaters, while also seeing if the second film can surpass the box office numbers that the first film ($756 million) ultimately put out.

To conclude, “Wicked For Good” is the heartbreaking conclusion to the two-part film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. It stars Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba) and Ariana Grande (Glinda) in the lead roles, with Jon M. Chu directing. It is a story about overcoming adversity, but also a story of friendship. In addition, it’s a story of what happens when that friendship is tested through great turmoil. All in all, it is on full display for all fans to see, as “Wicked For Good” is now in theaters worldwide.
